Jessica Sensei has returned from training in various parts of Japan. Along with many devoted karateka from 12 different countries, she trained with the Seiwakai leader Hanshi Seiichi Fujiwara (8th Dan) in Omagari for a week. The training was challenging, with exceptional attention to detail they were able to work on the finer points of Goju Ryu. After 12 hours of travel they arrived in Beppu Oita, where they continued training with the JKF under a multitude of extraordinary instructors from across Japan. The 41st International Tournament had hundreds of competitors with outstanding technique and precision from around the world. Our very own Glenn Stephenson Shihan was one of them, placing in the top eight for Kata.

Finally we congratulate Jessica Sensei on passing both her Nidan tests in Seiwakai and JKF.
